Children’s Dentistry:
We believe that a lifetime of good oral health begins with positive childhood experiences. Our team is trained to meet the unique needs of children, creating a fun, safe, and non-intimidating environment. From their first tooth to their teenage years, we are here to monitor their growth and development.
Our Approach to Pediatric Care
01. Happy Visits
For very young children, we offer “happy visits” to introduce them to the chair, the light, and the dentist in a playful way, building trust before any work is done.
02. Preventative Sealants
A thin, protective coating applied to the chewing surfaces of back molars. This blocks out food and bacteria, significantly reducing the risk of cavities in decay-prone areas.
03. Fluoride Treatments
Strengthening developing enamel to resist acid attacks.
Education for Parents and Kids
We focus heavily on education, teaching your little ones the proper way to brush and the importance of "tooth-healthy" foods. We also guide parents on topics like thumb-sucking, pacifier use, and teething.
Frequently asked questions
When should I bring my child for their first visit?
The Canadian Dental Association recommends the first visit by age 1 or within 6 months of the first tooth erupting.
What if my child is scared?
Anxiety is normal. Our team uses “Tell-Show-Do” techniques to explain everything in kid-friendly language. We are patient, gentle, and never rush.
